**Made from Full Grain Leather** - Our leather sleeves are made from 2-3 oz veg-tan leather (.8 – 1.2 mm or 1/32" – 3/64" thick). Vegetable Tanned leather is genuine animal hide that is tanned using water and tannins, a natural plant based product. Veg-tan leather may be stiff at first, but will become supple with time and use. Vegetable tanned leather is stronger and more durable than chrome-tanned leather, which comprises most leather products on the market. When properly cared for, Veg-tan leather can last years without breakage or wearing out. Chrome tan leather is resistant to water damage, but loses durability over time. This is why we choose to use only Veg-tan leather in our products.

**Hand Dyed Colors** - We use a water-based, eco-friendly leather stain on all our leather items. The stain is bleed-proof against water. Leather stains like these penetrate the surface of the leather, but may not soak all the way through. Along folds and seams, you may notice a lighter color from natural wear over time. We use a leather conditioner to supply your wallet with natural oils and waxes so that it lasts. Vegetable tan leather will darken over time as it absorbs oils and is exposed to sunlight. This is a natural process and gives each leather product a unique patina.
